Since my last post..

Well, it has been a while since my last post due to work, family, and moving back home! BUT, here are just a few photos to let you know what I've been up to lately:

a painting for a friend's mom that loves jazz and color

jumbo crawfish bride and groom for a crawfish boil rehearsal dinner

for the groom's table

signs at each turn to find the location

Hopefully, my schedule will include much more painting and creativity now that I have found the perfect work-from-home opportunity with Melaleuca! Check back occasionally for the latest K.Jayne's Kreations!

Hoochies Boutique

Well, after participating in the latest Green Market in Corinth, I was asked by a local store owner, Jana, to create a personalized window for her storefront! I was so excited because our visions pretty much meshed right away and she was so easy to work with. We discovered that Hoochies, her store downtown, is the new jewelry boutique my grandmother will not stop raving about! Apparently, MawMaw was quite the hit with Jana too because she knew right away who Bessie Smith was.

Anyway, take a look:

We may even decide to do a t-shirt, so be on the look-out! Visit Hoochies and leave with the cutest and best priced accessories in town! Also in the works, a t-shirt for the adorable ladies at Meli Salon. So excited to be able to do business in my hometown of Corinth and hoping to one day do this full time!

Corinth Green Market

Last Saturday, May 7, was the Corinth Green Market in my hometown. My sister, Megan Johnson, and I set up a tent for the first time and had so much fun in the process. The day was a success, especially for her t-shirts she is selling in order to raise money for she and her husband to adopt a baby in need! I designed the shirts for her and we chose a color scheme that we thought would do well for guys and girls. The cause, meaning, thoughts, and prayers put into those shirts is amazing and I can not wait to see how blessed this little one will be with two great parents and an aunt that will spoil him/her in a perfectly healthy way!
